Based on the construction of the above bases and supported by information technology, a comprehensive service platform for continuing education at Shandong First Medical University has been established. Non-degree training has been managed in a platform-based manner, and through big data empowerment, projects such as training for school health technicians, emergency treatment, myopia prevention and control, public welfare training for rural doctors, training for scientific research craftsmen, and qualification evaluation for health managers have been conducted. The annual training population is about 4,500 people, among which emergency first aid and myopia prevention and control training have formed a new direction of serving social and economic development through the unique training project group of Shandong First Medical University.
